Greetings & Welcome to my Front Porch! 🙂

Greetings to all of you who have joined and followed Front Porch Theology and WELCOME to my new Front Porch!

I have not posted anything on the website in over a year. I have been busy building a cottage for my wife and me in the country. I am nearing its completion in the month ahead and want to start posting again. I’m not sure exactly where I am going since the main purpose of the website was to post and start a conversation about George MacDonald’s Unspoken Sermons. The paraphrases are all posted, so I think I will begin by writing some new blogs about where my relationship with my Heavenly Father has taken me and what that looks like. Thank you in advance for your patience with me as I get my feet under me here once again.

See the link to the book below and click on the website link to read past blogs and MacDonald paraphrases.

The last time I posted, I had completed my book “George MacDonald: The Child in the Mist.” It is now live on Amazon and ready to order through the link below.

God Bless this mess and those who read it!!!

Most of us in our moments of crisis ask the fundamental questions about the meaning of life and living in relationship with God.

George MacDonald saw and gives powerful light and insight into these fundamental questions. He had no interest in you thinking the way he thought, but in you meeting, the One he met! In his day, as in ours, many claiming to be great religious thinkers attribute to God actions and attitudes that we would rightly condemn if found in our neighbor. These concepts create fear and doubt about the faithfulness and trustworthiness of God as our common Father.
